It is time to lace up your skates and hit the ice for the MSA Annual Winter Ice Skating Social next Sunday, December 9th from 1:45-3:15pm at the Shell ice rink. Last year was a lot of fun so bring your family and friends and come join us. 

The packers play Sunday night so you will not be missing out on that!

SHELL PARKING

Street Parking on Monroe Street - 2 hour parking meters at $1.25 per hour
Even side (Same side as CRSC)

• Meters are not enforced Sunday all day

Odd side (opposite CRSC)

• Meters are not enforced Sunday all day

UW Credit Union (1435 Monroe St., across from the CRSC) Parking lot is available to CRSC patrons at no charge.

Lot 18 (1420 Monroe St., directly in front of our entrance)

• Six 25-minute and twenty-seven 2-hour meters
• Meter rate $1.00 per hour

Other UW Lots - The following parking lots are available to CRSC patrons  Sunday All Day.

• Lot 16 (48 N. Randall Ave. also can be accessed between 1433 & 1435 Monroe St.)
• Lot 17 Ramp (1525 Engineering Dr.) North of Camp Randall Stadium – access ramp by turning on to Engineering Dr. from N. Randall St. (across from Union South)
• Lot 19 (1530 Little St) West of the Field House

Bike racks are available close to the front of the facility.

Curriculum Committee: Mehria Sayad-Shah

The curriculum committee gathers feedback from students on each class during the semester and meets with the administration to put in place concrete changes. There will be town hall meetings you can attend throughout the year to bring up these issues. Contact if you have any feedback regarding classes, profs, or curriculum structure

Orientation Committee: Sumit Kar

The orientation committee organizes several events for your orientation week and also communicates with the administration to provide student input for the week. Contact if you have any feedback or ideas for M1 orientation or have any questions you need addressed before classes start.

Finance Committee: Kelsey Marko

MSA provides funding to every student organization in the medical school for events they organize. We also fund students who want to attend a medical conference. Contact for information regarding funding for noon talks or travel and go to uwmedstudents.com to read more about out funding policies.

Facilities Committee: Josh Fast

Dean’s Cup/Dean’s Cup Ball: Allison Aul

The Dean’s Cup is a friendly competition in the Fall between the med school and law school. Contact if you have any ideas for the Deans Cup or go to uwmedstudents.com/deanscup.

Community Service Committee: James Lehman

Communications Committee: James Lehman 

Responsible for communicating MSA events with students and runs uwmedstudents.com. Feel free to contact James with any general MSA concerns.

Clothing & Equipment Sales: Nikki Kamps

MSA organizes clothing and equipment sales (stethoscopes, etc.) to raise money for Match Day funds for your year. Contact if you have any questions or ideas for the annual clothing & equipment sale

Elections: Josh Fast

MSA elections for class presidents, class representatives, and other positions occur twice a year. Contact if you have any questions regarding MSA elections.

WMAA Student Committee: Nikki Kamps 

This committee works with the alumni association to allow students to meet and work with UW alumni. Contact if you have any questions regarding the WMAA or WMAA events.
